We are seeking a dedicated Quality Casting Inspector to join our team on the 1st shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting castings for dimensional and visual compliance, conducting process audits, and ensuring product quality according to internal and customer standards.

Responsibilities

• Examine castings for imperfections based on Work Instructions.
• Operate ultrasonic testing (UT) equipment for dimensional inspections.
• Perform magnaflux testing on castings as specified.
• Gauge castings for machining and as-cast purposes, ensuring specifications are met.
• Stamp and sell off castings that meet or exceed quality standards.
• Collaborate with production to ensure compliance with requirements and prioritize workload.
• Perform measurement studies and data collection as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Knowledge of internal systems, reasoning ability, mechanical aptitude, dexterity, and basic math skills.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
