Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations in the United States manufactures vinyl windows, cladding, and metal siding. We seek a Quality Auditor to join our plant team responsible for auditing products and processes, reporting quality issues, and training operators to ensure a quality product.

You will work on data-driven KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost, cross-train across production lines, and adhere to PPE and safety procedures in a noisy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience in quality inspection or manufacturing is preferred.
• Must be fluent in English and understand ALWIN system notes.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Able to follow SOPs and basic computer logging tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Audit products and processes in assigned work areas to report quality issues.
• Train operators on quality requirements to produce a quality product.
• Cover for absent EOL on production lines as needed.
• Verify quality of product during manufacturing.
• Cross-train in other areas of the department to be proficient on the line.
