Job summary

DP World in Perris, CA is seeking a Quality Auditor to ensure adherence to customer quality standards and drive continuous improvement in a busy logistics and manufacturing setting.

You will perform audits, generate quality reports, and collaborate with operations and training teams to address defects and improvements, with a 10am-6:30pm shift and OT opportunities. This role offers exposure to a global logistics leader and local growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/45001 is a plus.
• Experience as an auditor in logistics and/or manufacturing.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience in an industrial/warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure internal quality functions comply with customer quality standards.
• Create product quality reports from QA checks.
• Control and monitor quality issues; raise problems with team-leaders and management.
• Complete pack audits as required.
• Liaise with training team on errors identified by operations.
• Create slides for daily operational performance boards.
• Conduct First Article Inspection checks for NPI products.
• Identify quality improvements and help implement long-term solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

About The Role

How you will contribute

• Ensure that all internal quality functions comply to the customer’s quality standards and expectations.
• Create product quality reports based on findings of the quality assurance checks.
• Control and monitor quality issues raising problems with team-leaders and management as required.
• Complete pack audits as per requirements.
• Liaise with the training team when identifying errors made by the operational team.
• Create slides for the daily operational performance boards.
• Conduct First Article Inspection checks for NPI products.
• Identify quality improvements and assist with their implementation to find long term solutions.
• Other duties as assigned

Your Key Qualifications

• High school diploma required; knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001, 14001, 45001) a plus.
• Experience as an auditor in a Logistics and/or Manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience working within an industrial/warehouse environment.
