Job summary

DP World in Perris, CA, is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations and drive safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will lead a team, monitor KPI’s, assist with scheduling, and coordinate with other departments to ensure production goals are met. HS diploma required; forklift experience preferred. This is an on-site role at our Perris facility.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a Lead role within logistics or manufacturing.
• Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efficient operation of the department and ensure procedures are documented and followed.
• Monitor daily KPIs, quality metrics, and productivity administration and ensure accuracy.
• Provide back up support to the Supervisor during absences and represent them when required.
• Liaise with all operational departments to ensure smooth workflow and maximum synergy.
• Provide leadership, set clear expectations, and participate in warehouse operations and activities.
• Work scheduling to meet production goals and KPIs; schedule may fluctuate as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About The Role

How you will contribute

• Coordinate efficient operation of the department and ensure procedures are documented and followed.
• Assist with monitoring daily KPI’s, Quality Metrics, employee timecard exceptions & productivity administration is completed accurately and on time.
• Provide back up and support to the Supervisor and to represent him/her fully in periods of absence (sickness, holiday, business meetings, etc.) when required.
• Liaison with all operational departments to ensure smooth work flow & maximum synergy.
• Provide leadership to staff by establishing clear expectations and acting as a role model and assist with planning, overseeing and participating in the warehouse operations and activities.
• Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED.
• Experience in a Lead role.
• Experience in a Logistics or Manufacturing environment.
• Prior forklift experience.
