Job summary

Rivian is hiring an Audit Technician in Illinois to support the internal audit program and ensure ongoing compliance with the Quality Management System. You will perform audits, collect evidence, identify gaps, and assist with corrective actions with cross-functional teams on the floor.

This role suits a detail-oriented auditing professional with manufacturing or quality systems experience and knowledge of IATF 16949.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of internal auditing, quality, manufacturing, inspection, compliance, or related operational work.
• Basic understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, or similar quality management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures, records, forms, and manufacturing or quality documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings accurately and objectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills across functions.

Responsibilities

• Audit execution of process, product, layered, and system audits as scheduled.
• Prepare timely audit reports and track findings to closure.
• Support compliance to Rivian's Quality Manual and procedures; help identify gaps and improvements.
