General Description : This position is responsible for inspecting and documenting incoming finished goods. Additionally, this role assists with reviewing and filing Certificates of Analysis and other cGMP related documents.
Core Duties and Responsibilities :
- Implement and continue to upkeep documentation per Quality Control procedures
- Inspect incoming materials by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; initial review for potential rejection and return of unacceptable materials
- Organize and file Certificates of Analysis, SOP’s and other cGMP logs
- Communicate with contract manufacturers to obtain Certificates of Analysis
- Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with cGMP training and adherence to cGMP compliance
- Act as Sanitation Supervisor performing weekly facility inspection for Distribution Center
- Help management team implement and maintain warehouse initiatives
- Assist in writing and updating inspection forms, and checklists for cGMP compliance
- Help approve and release critical quality components such as bulk product and raw materials
- Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; call for repairs as needed
- Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position
- Additional duties as needed
Position Requirements :
- 3+ years relevant work experience; Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field preferred
- Detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in a Quality Control environment strongly preferred
