Job summary

BCforward seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst to join the team in Columbus, OH, on-site for a 7-month contract. The role emphasizes test automation, data quality, and defect management to drive end-to-end UAT and automation outcomes, improving product quality and delivery efficiency.

Responsibilities include defect lifecycle management, automated test development, data profiling, test data management, and coordinating UAT with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with defect management tools and test management platforms.
• Hands-on experience building automated tests with common frameworks.
• Data profiling and validation to enforce data quality rules.
• Working knowledge of test data setup and analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile practices, including UAT processes.
• Clear communication skills to partner across QA and Automation teams.
• Familiarity with at least one development language used for test automation.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, data quality, and defect management and a proven ability to drive end-to-end UAT and automation outcomes that improve product quality and delivery efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage defect lifecycle using common defect management tools and ensure timely resolution.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks.
• Perform data profiling and validation to assess alignment with defined Data Quality rules.
• Leverage data management tools to support test data creation, maintenance, and analysis.
• Plan and execute UAT, coordinate with stakeholders, and document results.
• Negotiate, communicate, and deliver test solutions to Automation and QA organizations.
• Apply knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies to testing activities and ceremonies.
• Contribute code or scripts using one or more development languages where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency with defect management tools and test management platforms.
• Hands-on experience building automated tests with common frameworks.
• Data profiling and validation skills to enforce Data Quality rules.
• Working knowledge of data management tools for test data setup and analysis.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile practices, including UAT processes.
• Clear communication skills with an ability to partner across QA and Automation teams.
• Familiarity with at least one development language used for test automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience facilitating UAT with business stakeholders.
• Background in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD exposure.

Interview Process

• Two rounds. First round focused on UAT and automation technical topics.
• Final round focused on behavioral and situational questions.
• Interviews scheduled on weekdays, mornings preferred. Some interviewers are based in India.
