Role Description The Quality Assurance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in West Bend, IA. This role is responsible for monitoring and verifying product quality and food safety throughout production, including conducting routine inspections, tests, and audits in accordance with SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards. The Quality Assurance Technician documents results, maintains accurate records, and reports nonconformances, working closely with production and sanitation teams to implement corrective and preventive actions. Daily tasks include environmental monitoring, equipment and line checks, label and packaging verification, and support of traceability and recall readiness activities. The role also participates in continuous improvement initiatives, assists with training on quality and food safety practices, and ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies.
