Job summary

Millennium Software and Staffing Inc in Lacey, WA is seeking an experienced QA tester to work onsite for our client. The role focuses on functional, automation, and API testing to ensure software quality.

You will perform manual and automated testing, execute test scripts, report defects, and prepare comprehensive test reports for stakeholders. A 7+ year background in software QA and a degree in CS, Engineering, or related field are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on functional, automation, and API testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Functional/ Manual Testing, Automation Testing, API testing hands on experience with Katalon tool
• Test Execution: Utilizing Postman to create test scripts for RESTful APIs, Web Services and Microservices.
• Performing manual and automated tests to ensure the smooth integration of software components and systems.
• Identifying and reporting defects to development teams for resolution.
• Documenting test results and preparing test reports for stakeholders.
