Job Description:

• Active role as a Tester in TDD (Test Driven Development), Functional / Integration, Regression, and UAT Testing initiatives.
• Develops, executes, and maintains software test plans.
• Develop manual test scripts for user interface, functionality, and system testing.
• Execute regression tests, functional tests, and data tests.
• Log bugs/issues via an issue tracking tool, and help determine the priority of reported bugs.
• Provide internal Quality Assurance.
• Provide clear reporting on test plan results.
• Report on the progress of the test process.
• Ability to manage change during the test process.
• Verification testing in production to ensure the changes were properly installed.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in validation and modification of software.
• Administer test control and collect statistics (e.g., defect tracking).

Desired Experience:

• University Degree in a relevant technical field.
• A combination of experience and education may be substituted.
• General IT experience.
• Understanding and hands-on experience with Application Development Lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile and Iterative Development processes.
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and automation scripting using TFS.
• Exposure to MS SQL or MySQL preferred.
• Programming experience is a plus.
• 3 - 5 years of experience with Quality Assurance Manual Testing.
• IT application testing experience.
• Knowledge of defect management and reporting systems.
