Our entertainment client is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Enterprise QA & Test Strategy Lead to oversee all testing activities for its Oracle Fusion ERP implementation program. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of a complex, multi-system enterprise transformation by driving a rigorous, end-to-end testing strategy across key platforms including Oracle Fusion Cloud, OneStream, and legacy financial systems.

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in managing QA and testing functions within large-scale Oracle Fusion ERP programs, a deep understanding of financial business processes, and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a structured, results-driven environment. This role requires close coordination with project leadership, technical and functional teams, and third-party implementation partners to ensure a comprehensive and high-quality solution delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

15–20+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance and Testing leadership roles, including 3–5 years supporting Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) implementations. Strong expertise in testing Oracle Fusion Financials modules including Record-to-Report (RTR), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). Demonstrated success leading testing for large-scale ERP transformation programs involving multiple systems and stakeholders. Extensive knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and QA best practices in enterprise environments. Proven ability to lead cross-functional and cross-vendor teams in a structured, deadline-driven setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Familiarity with financial planning tools such as OneStream and integrations with ERP platforms. Experience using tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr, or Tosca. Previous experience working with or within Big Four consulting firms or major systems integrators. ISTQB or similar QA certification(s). Oracle Cloud ERP certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities: Test Strategy & Planning Develop and maintain a comprehensive, risk-based test strategy aligned with the program’s scope, timeline, and quality objectives. Define test approaches for all in-scope systems and platforms, including Oracle Fusion, OneStream, and boundary or legacy applications. Collaborate with solution architects, project managers, and functional leads to define integrated, cross-system test scenarios and end-to-end testing flows. Ensure that the test strategy addresses all phases of testing including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Release Readiness. Test Governance & Coordination Coordinate testing efforts across internal business units, technical teams, external vendors, and system integrators. Facilitate daily test progress and defect triage meetings during active testing cycles. Partner with the Enterprise Applications and Infrastructure teams to ensure the availability, stability, and readiness of test environments. Collaborate with the data migration team to identify and provision appropriate test data for all test phases. Test Case & Execution Management Oversee the development, review, and approval of test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring full traceability to business and technical requirements. Ensure testing activities are tracked and managed using appropriate tools such as JIRA or HP ALM. Maintain transparency in testing progress and coverage metrics through structured reporting and dashboards. Defect & Risk Management Define severity classification criteria and defect prioritization guidelines. Manage defect lifecycle from identification through resolution, ensuring root cause analysis is performed and long-term fixes are implemented. Escalate critical issues and unresolved defects in a timely manner to the program leadership and project management office (PMO). Stakeholder Reporting & Communication Provide regular updates and executive-level readouts on testing progress, quality metrics, defect trends, and go-live readiness. Advise on go/no-go decisions for releases based on testing results, quality thresholds, and business risk assessments.

Compensation:

$100-$120hr USD.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
