Job summary

Job Title: Quality Assurance Test Analyst

Pay Rate: $35 – $45 per hour W2

Our client is an innovative leader in technology solutions, dedicated to delivering software and mobile applications that elevate user experiences and streamline business operations. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Test Analyst to join their collaborative team on an exciting 1-year contract. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving product excellence, working closely with cross-functional Agile teams to validate features, ensure API functionality, and shape the future of digital products in a hybrid environment.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Executing manual test cases, ad-hoc exploratory testing, and regression testing across web and desktop applications.
• Developing, maintaining, and reviewing detailed test scenarios while partnering closely with developers and business analysts to resolve reported issues.
• Validating system integrations and performing dedicated API testing to ensure data exchange.
• Managing testing lifecycles to meet project timelines, performing software configurations, and managing testing systems for successful outcomes.
• Participating actively in Agile ceremonies to provide critical feedback, evaluate high-risk areas, and advocate for quality across all deliverables.

Here’s what our ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years of dedicated Quality Assurance experience testing web and desktop applications.
• Solid working knowledge of API testing methodologies and tools (such as Postman or similar web services utilities).
• Experience using SQL to extract, modify, and add data within databases to support test execution.
• Strong familiarity with structured testing concepts, methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within Agile environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to excel independently under aggressive timelines.
