Location: Chattanooga, TN - Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Type: 12-month contract with potential conversion to full-time

Our client is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join its Chattanooga QA team. This role will focus primarily on hands‑on manual testing of web applications and desktop software, with opportunities to support mobile, hardware, and integration testing as product knowledge develops.

The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented, collaborative tester who can quickly learn complex products, develop thorough test coverage, identify and document defects, and work closely with developers and fellow QA team members in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression test suites.
• Perform manual testing across web‑based and desktop applications.
• Validate new features, releases, system integrations, and defect fixes.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and retest defects using Jira.
• Execute test cases in TestRail and collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform API testing, including validation of third‑party integrations.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support a two‑week sprint cadence.
• Begin with regression testing and progressively take on sprint‑testing responsibilities.
• Support testing of mobile applications, hardware‑connected systems, and firmware releases as needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams through Slack and other communication channels.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of manual testing experience.
• Experience testing financial applications.
• Strong manual testing experience with web applications and desktop software.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test plans, and regression testing.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and validating software defects.
• API testing experience, preferably using Postman.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• SQL experience, particularly working with SQL‑based databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing third‑party APIs and integrations.
• Accessibility testing experience using tools such as Deque, Axe, or WAVE.
• Experience testing Apple Wallet or Google Wallet integrations.
