Job description

At Torani, quality is at the heart of everything we do. Achieving that starts on the manufacturing floor, where strong quality systems, close partnerships, and a commitment to continuous improvement ensure every product reflects the standards our customers expect from Torani.

The QA Technician – Syrup plays an important role in supporting Torani’s food safety and quality programs within our Syrup manufacturing operation. Working closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams, you’ll help execute quality systems, conduct inspections and product evaluations, support Positive Release, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure our processes consistently deliver First Time Quality. Building on your foundational quality knowledge, you’ll grow your expertise while helping protect the quality, safety, and integrity of every product we make.

At Torani, a Certified B Corporation, we flavor more than just drinks—we flavor lives. You’ll join a collaborative, people-first team where curiosity, partnership, and continuous improvement are part of how we work every day.

Success Factors (First 12–24 Months)
  • Manufacturing Quality Support: You became a trusted member of the Quality team supporting Torani’s Syrup manufacturing operation. As your understanding of our products, manufacturing processes, and quality systems grew, you consistently executed the quality activities that helped ensure our products met Torani’s high standards. Through GMP inspections, line checks, SOP reviews, and close partnership with Manufacturing, you helped build confidence that every batch was produced safely, consistently, and with First Time Quality in mind.
  • Food Safety & Quality Execution: You developed a strong understanding of Torani’s food safety and quality programs and consistently executed them with accuracy and attention to detail. From performing quality inspections, to supporting positive release, conducting sensory evaluations, leading the calibration program, and reviewing production documentation, you helped ensure every product met Torani’s quality standards before reaching our customers. Your commitment to doing the work right helped protect both our consumers and the Torani brand while reinforcing a safe manufacturing environment.
  • Audit & Compliance: You became someone others could rely on to keep quality documentation organized, complete, and audit-ready. Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross-functional partners, you helped ensure quality activities aligned with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), SQF standards, and Torani’s food safety expectations. Your organization, follow-through, and attention to detail helped ensure documentation was accurate, accessible, and ready whenever it was needed.
  • Quality Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: As your understanding of our products, manufacturing processes, and quality systems grew, you became increasingly confident identifying quality concerns, investigating routine issues, and recognizing trends that deserved further attention. Whether supporting customer complaint investigations, reviewing production records, evaluating sensory results, or identifying opportunities to strengthen standard work, your curiosity and attention to detail helped improve the consistency of our quality systems. By asking thoughtful questions and contributing ideas, you helped make the work better over time.
  • Collaboration & Communication: You became known as a collaborative and dependable partner who kept quality at the center of every conversation. You built strong relationships with Manufacturing teams and communicated observations clearly, escalating concerns promptly and partnering with others to resolve issues quickly and effectively. Through your positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to shared success, you helped strengthen Torani’s culture of food safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
