Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages LLC, located in McAllen, TX, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the 2nd shift. The role focuses on blending syrup and ensuring quality control per company standards, with hours 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

The starting pay ranges from $23.14 to $28.98 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of general work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle raw materials and finished goods in compliance with quality standards and requirements.
• Review production schedule for inventory and ordering of raw materials.
• Rotate inventory as required.
• Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with company safety and sanitation requirements.
• Maintain, store and dispose of water treatment chemicals.
• Maintain a continuous mix/batch of syrup in accordance with quality standards.

General Purpose

Responsible for blending syrup and quality control according to company standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle raw materials and finished goods in compliance with quality standards and requirements.
• Review production schedule for inventory and ordering of raw materials.
• Rotate inventory as required.
• Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with company safety and sanitation requirements. - Maintain, store and dispose of water treatment chemicals.
• Maintain a continuous mix/batch of syrup in accordance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred
• 1-3 year of general work experience required.
• Prior food production operation experience preferred.
• Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand MSDS, operate manufacturing equipment, and knowledge of industrial technology a plus.
