Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Quality Technician to help ensure product quality and manufacturing excellence. You will perform dimensional, visual, and nondestructive testing, collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and lead corrective actions to sustain CI.

Qualifications

Experience interpreting detailed blueprints and engineering drawings.
Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gauges).
Strong written and verbal communication in a quality-focused role.
Ability to work autonomously with reliability and organization.
Familiarity with MS Office and QMS software platforms.

Responsibilities

Perform dimensional, visual, and nondestructive inspections to verify component and product quality.
Conduct supplier quality audits and provide actionable feedback.
Lead corrective actions and root cause analyses for nonconformances.
Document nonconformances in the corrective action system and ensure timely closure.
Support ISO 9001:2015 quality management practices and related standards.
Manage calibration, certification, and maintenance of metrology instruments.
Assist EnMS team in energy reduction and sustainability initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally to promote operational excellence.
