AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to inspect products and components, ensuring conformance with specifications and procedures. You will document non-conforming items, disposition them, and assist in root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

The role requires strong measurement skills, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with inspection equipment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required; technical degree or associates preferred.
• 5–10 years related experience; or combination of education and experience.
• Experience in measuring and evaluating gears and gear forms.
• Ability to read blueprints and ANSI Y14.5 symbols (GD&T).
• Proficient with inspection equipment and Microsoft Office; Oracle a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections on all products and components to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Confirm accompanying documentation meets requirements.
• Conduct roving shop floor inspections as needed.
• Perform NDT and destructive testing as required.
• Report non-conformances and collaborate on resolutions.
• Complete audits as scheduled and document findings.
• Follow safety requirements and procedures.
