Job summary

Acme Smoked Fish Corp is seeking a QA Technician I to assist the Quality Assurance Department in executing product quality checks, inspections of procedures, and adherence to GMPs.

The role involves monitoring product quality, performing routine inspections, maintaining QA records, and supporting sanitation and sanitation SOPs within a fast-paced production environment. Training and development in GMP/HACCP are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced degrees preferred.
• Experience in a food processing/manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Strong communication, organization and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality, safety, packaging, labeling, and processes to ensure GMP/HACCP compliance.
• Perform routine quality inspections including label, net weight, and sensory checks.
• Document and maintain QA records and testing results.
• Coordinate sampling programs and support environmental monitoring and traceability.
• Verify CAPA completion and equipment calibration; uphold quality systems.
