Quality Assurance Technician I (Manufacturing)

Global Widget is a vertically integrated, next-generation consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturer of quality health and wellness products, focusing on gummy production. Position Summary/Objective

As part of the company's Quality team, you will be a key member in assisting with raw material, in-process, and finished product testing and documentation. The QC Technician 1 will be responsible for internal lab procedures related to quantitative and qualitative testing, while also assisting in the release of manufacturing components.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare samples, standards, and solutions for internal laboratory testing.
  • Document and report sampling conditions, testing activities and results.
  • Assist in the release process of raw materials using the appropriate documents and overseeing results data is correct.
  • Conducts weekly and monthly water quality testing for potable and filtered water sources.
  • Performs testing of packaging components.
  • Document and report sampling conditions, testing activities and results.

Required Experience and Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Strong cGMP background
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
