Amcor is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support manufacturing operations in Langdon, PA. You will collect samples from injection molding machines and production lines, perform attribute, dimensional and functional testing, record results, and escalate non-conformances to the shift supervisor for prompt resolution.

You must have a high school diploma, experience in fast-paced manufacturing (plastic manufacturing preferred), strong measurement, math, and computer skills, and the ability

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment; plastic manufacturing highly preferred.
• Technical background and/or experience in Quality Assurance highly preferred.
• Good computer skills required.
• Skilled in the use of measuring devices, such as height gauges and calipers.
• Good mathematics skills required.
• Good communication skills-verbal and written; must effectively communicate with employees, vendors, and customers.
• Independent in working effectively with little supervision; self-starter, delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail, time management skills, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collect samples from injection molding machines, secondary process, and print lines for attribute/dimensional/functional testing.
• Record results on the appropriate forms/Quality Monitor.
• Notify Shift Supervisor of non-conformances and monitor for prompt resolution.
• Notify QA Manager of quality defects requiring escalation.
• Perform in-process attribute verifications and document checks.
• Perform first shot verifications and document results.
• Assist as necessary with LDR verifications and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a safe working environment and proper housekeeping.
