Job summary

Spring Glen Fresh Foods is seeking a QA Technician to support the Quality Assurance Department in maintaining product quality and food safety standards. You will conduct inspections, testing, documentation, and verification across raw ingredients, in-process materials, and finished goods.

The role works with production, sanitation, and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and government regulations, perform micro and environmental testing, and maintain accurate records and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred in Food Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in food processing or quality assurance.
• HACCP certification preferred; knowledge of GMP and food safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of raw ingredients, in‑process materials, and finished goods.
• Conduct micro testing, pathogen testing, ATP swabs, allergen swabs, and environmental swabbing.
• Complete in‑house lab testing (pH, viscosity, shear, etc.) and prepare samples for external labs.
• Maintain calibration records, sanitation levels, and product inventory holds when needed.
• Train personnel on SOPs and quality procedures; escalate issues to QA Manager.
