Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a QA Technician for the day shift to perform technical food product tests, process checks, and audits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related science and 1–3 years of experience in food safety; you will train new staff, calibrate equipment, and maintain test records in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, microbiology, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience with understanding of food safety and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts tests, analyzes results, and compiles audits on raw, in-process, and finished products to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Interacts with plant personnel to share QA and safety information and inform about quality concerns.
• Maintains records and logs of tests, audits, and QA procedures for accuracy and traceability.
• Trains new employees on company QA techniques and practices.
• Calibrates and maintains testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of QA procedures.
