Accelera in Manteno, IL, seeks a Quality Assurance Technician on the 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) to safeguard food safety and quality. You will inspect ingredients, packaging, and lines, spending most time on the floor conducting tests and documenting findings while collaborating with multiple departments to address issues.

You will operate scales, calipers, rulers, and metal detection equipment, ensuring precision and traceability.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-operational sanitation checks to verify sanitation effectiveness.
• Maintain GMP audits and keep a clean, compliant facility.
• Regularly calibrate and test QA instrumentation for accuracy.
• Collect product samples to support sensory and shelf-life validation.
• Report safety or quality deviations to production teams promptly.

Role Overview: Located in Manteno, IL, this Contract-to-Hire position operates on the 3rd shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Compensation ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, complemented by a benefits package including PTO, paid holidays, BCBS medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and ESOP.

Your Impact: As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will safeguard our food safety and quality standards by inspecting ingredients, packaging, and production lines. You will spend the vast majority of your time on the floor conducting tests, documenting findings, and collaborating with various departments to address any quality issues.
