Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group, based in Rialto, CA, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support the Quality department and Production Operations and ensure the highest level of quality for our precast concrete pipe products. The role collaborates across departments to meet project QA requirements.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, ACI Field Grade 1 certification, bilingual English/Spanish, and knowledge of concrete technology, welding, and NDE/NDT.

Qualifications

• ACI Field Grade 1 certification is required.
• Knowledge of concrete technology, welding, and nondestructive evaluation/testing (NDE/NDT) preferred.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all aspects of Quality under supervision.
• Steel Tensile Test reports.
• Aggregate tests.
• Joint Assembly Test reports.
• Production fabrication, test, and inspection reports.
• Assist Production personnel with quality control duties.
• Ensure compliance with QA procedures per project specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
