Job summary

Manna Beverages in Indianapolis seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to conduct QA audits throughout beverage production, ensuring product integrity and compliance with FSMA, SQF, Kosher, and Organic standards. You will support cross-functional teams with quality issue resolution and maintain documentation.

The role requires strong lab skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced plant environment, including shift work and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, journals, and procedures.
• Ability to write reports and procedures.
• Strong communication skills with managers, clients, and customers.
• Mathematical ability to calculate proportions, percentages, averages, and volumes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Familiarity with lab safety and hazardous materials handling.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and GMPs.
• Perform quality testing and audits on beverages and ingredients.
• Operate and standardize lab equipment.
• Record results and report deviations promptly.
• Maintain materials inventory and retention samples.
• Train QA Technicians and participate in quality audits.
• Ensure proper disposition of non-conforming products.
• Conduct packaging and final product inspections.
