Job summary

Qualifications

• BS Degree required in Food Science, Microbiology or Engineering.
• 1–3 years of food manufacturing QA experience; knowledge of powder blending and packaging technology preferred.
• HACCP certification preferred or in process.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and SQF experience required.
• Strong QA, cGMP/GDP knowledge.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills; cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-focused workplace by enforcing safety policies and educating team members.
• Evaluate production processes and related documentation; escalate concerns to management.
• Manage, investigate, and resolve non-conforming materials.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues on non-conforming materials.
• Lead root cause analyses and CAPA for food safety and quality concerns.
• Assist in gathering and reporting quality performance metrics.
• Participate in internal audit activities.
• Track consumer and customer complaints; drive KPI improvements with Plant Manager.
• Develop and maintain internal specifications and SOPs.
