Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (GRAM) is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to perform AQL inspections after visual inspection and packaging, and to conduct monthly logbook reviews and retention inspections. You will review documentation and support supplier quality investigations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Passing of post-offer vision screening.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform the incoming component and finishing operation AQL inspections (visual inspection, product labeling and/or packaging).
• Communicate effectively with manufacturing to prioritize AQL inspections.
• Uphold procedures and processes for AQL.
• Perform monthly logbook reviews.
• Perform routine current Good Manufacturing Practice reviews on documentation (inventory cards, logbooks etc.).
• Sample finished product for retention and perform monthly retention inspection.
• Provide input into supplier quality investigation reports, corrective actions/preventative actions, customer complaints, and deviation investigations from the visual inspection aspect.
