Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to perform AQL inspections after visual inspection and packaging steps, and to conduct monthly logbook reviews.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, accuracy and efficiency, and post-offer vision screening. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook is required; pharma/biotech QA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Passing of post-offer vision screening.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform the incoming component and finishing operation AQL inspections (visual inspection, product labeling and/or packaging).
• Communicate effectively with manufacturing to prioritize AQL inspections.
• Uphold procedures and processes for AQL.
• Perform monthly logbook reviews.
• Perform routine current Good Manufacturing Practice reviews on documentation (inventory cards, logbooks etc.).
• Sample finished product for retention and perform monthly retention inspection.
• Provide input into supplier quality investigation reports, corrective actions/preventative actions, customer complaints, and deviation investigations from the visual inspection aspect.
