Job summary

Shearer’s Foods in Moraine, Ohio is seeking a Food Quality Assurance Technician for the afternoon shift (2:30pm–11pm). You will perform analytical, microbiological and sensory tests to uphold strict quality standards and support product quality across lines.

You will calibrate equipment, assist with audits and ensure compliance with SQF, GMPs and food safety while collaborating closely with production teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years QA experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Safety-minded; able to follow procedures.
• Ability to read, understand and communicate with team.
• Basic math and conversions for run rates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab testing and ensure equipment is calibrated.
• Monitor operations for SQF, GMPs and food safety compliance.
• Train and prepare for audits; document results.
• Communicate quality results with production team.
