Job summary

Mitotec Precision in Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Technician to champion quality in production and set standards to meet or exceed customer expectations. You will apply knowledge of machining, heat treatment, plating, grinding, and ISO 9001 or similar QMS, plus process validation.

The role involves first article inspections, developing inspection plans, and managing CMM/Hommel/Oasis equipment, SPC data, and corrective actions, reporting to Engineering/Quality Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates or bachelor's degree a plus.
• Minimum 4 years quality control experience.

Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings and perform measurements.
• Conduct first article inspections.
• Develop inspection plans and set production quality requirements.
• Perform mechanical inspections with gauges (micrometers, calipers, surface testers, bore gauge, indicators, hardness testers).
• Interpret SPC data and control charts; conduct gauge R&R studies as needed.
• Understand and support PPAP process and sampling plans.
• Program and manage inspection equipment (CMM, Hommel, Oasis).
• Investigate and resolve plant-wide QC problems and lead corrective actions.
