Winland Foods, Inc. is seeking a Certified Quality Team Member for the 2nd shift in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will perform inspections, support quality programs, and collaborate with production to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include environmental swabbing, sampling, SAP documentation, and assisting in cross-functional improvements. Requires GMP/HACCP knowledge and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Food Science preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing or food production.
• 18+ years old.
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and advise on minor adjustments to formulas or processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and environmental swabbing to verify compliance with established standards.
• Conduct sensory testing, label verification, and analytical testing to ensure product attributes are correct.
• Lead facility inspections and support audits following GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA policies.
