Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience as a quality technician is preferred.

Job Description

This role supports the Quality Assurance Manager in implementing the overall Quality System at the AFNA site.

What You Get to Do
  1. Perform verification testing according to specifications and other appropriate means.
  2. Record test results, file QC records, quarantine non-conforming materials, and notify Production Supervision. Organize daily MRB meetings.
  3. Manage sample retention and storage for future reference in case of quality concerns.
  4. Audit job data and approve products from quality inspection.
  5. File Hold Tickets and Specification Deviation Requests as needed.
  6. Assist in developing and maintaining effective procedures for quality assurance.
  7. Maintain quality records and assist in training personnel in inspection methods and quality standards.
  8. Review documentation during shift huddles.
  9. Support process capability and control studies (SPC) to ensure product quality.
  10. Maintain calibration systems for measurement devices and perform calibrations as required.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
  12. Ensure a safe work environment by attending training, reporting hazards, and wearing PPE.
  13. Contribute to customer satisfaction, product quality, and profitability by ensuring compliance and effective responses to inquiries and complaints.
  14. Ensure verification testing is completed and non-conforming materials are quarantined.
  15. Maintain calibration and quality records appropriately.
