Job Summary

Nutra Blend is an industry leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamin, trace mineral, micro‑ingredients and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry.

Pay

$24 per hour

Shift

First Shift – 4 am to 6 am start time (ends 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm)

Responsibilities

The QA Technician will liaise with Operations to ensure a safe wholesome finished product that meets our customers’ specifications. This is accomplished by conforming to all standards within the LOL Quality Management Systems. They perform analyses, inspections and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, quantitative assays on samples, and finished products to ensure quality standards and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for chemical or physical properties. They perform qualitative tests or assays, aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments, conduct inspections, checks, analysis and documentation of studies, prepare and monitor quality statistics and reports, review production records for conformance to procedures, evaluate non‑conforming results, and initiate re‑sampling, re‑testing and/or hold procedures.

Required Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate’s degree or 3–5 years of applicable experience

  • Age: 18 years or older

  • Quality Control Analysis: Conducting tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements.
  • Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
  • Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and dust.
  • Shift schedules that include days, nights, weekends, holidays and periodic overtime.
