Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead our quality programs across the facility, ensuring safe animal feed production in a compliant manufacturing environment.

You will coach and train staff on HACCP, FDA/OSHA requirements, and state/federal regulations while supporting production and scheduling as needed. You will implement EH&S and quality initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and interact with production staff to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School/GED with 2+ years QA experience in feed/food or related fields.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FDA/OSHA regulations desirable.
• Experience coaching and training staff on quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality programs including Land O’Lakes Quality Standards, HACCP, FDA & OSHA regulations.
• Support production as needed and assist in scheduling and inventory management.
• Drive continuous improvement, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Mentor staff on EH&S and regulatory initiatives.

Quality Supervisor

This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business helping our network of local cooperatives, independent dealers and other large retailers serve producers, and animal owners throughout the United States. Through industry -leading R&D and committed partnerships, we innovate the nutrition products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life. As a Quality Production Supervisor you will be given the opportunity to be the facility head of our quality programs to include but not limited to Land O’ Lakes Quality Standards, HACCP, FDA & OSHA regulations, all of which to be done to ensure safe animal feed is produced in a safe manufacturing environment. This role will also support to production as needed. You will provide coaching and training on quality & EH&S standards, HACCP, FDA & OSHA regulations as well as state and federal requirements and other regulatory initiatives. You will also help and at times lead production scheduling, ingredient inventory management, continuous improvement projects, root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve issues. In addition this role will be expected to implement key EH&S and Quality programs and corporate initiatives. You will also interact with the production staff, providing coaching and training on quality standards, HACCP, and other regulatory initiatives. You will also have 2 direct reports.

Required Experience/Education

High School/GED 2+ years experience in QA in feed, food or related fields. Candidates in the rotational Land O' Lakes programs (TAP/MMT/DMT) will be considered

At times this position could be asked to perform activities on the production floor so the ability to lift up to 50 lbs is a requirement.

Salary: $70,800 - $106,200. In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges.
