Job summary

Amarr is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician in Lawrence, KS to support and implement standards and procedures aligned with customer expectations. The role involves inspecting incoming material and completed products, assisting with quality audits, reading simple engineering drawings, and maintaining records.

You will work in a high-volume environment, communicate with production leadership, operate laboratory-testing equipment, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience implementing quality checks and tests preferred.
• Basic knowledge of products and processes helpful.

• Perform physical property tests (e.g., tensile, hardness).
• Complete quality checks and audits on the production floor.
• Ensure all measurement devices are within calibration.

Do you love problem solving, analyzing data, and creating stop gaps?Then the Quality Assurance Technician position in Lawrence, KS is for you!The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for supporting and implementing standards and procedures that which align with expectations of our customers. The technician interacts daily with multiple levels of management and production personnel, fully supporting the Quality Strategies. The technician must perform inspections on incoming material, completed products, assist with quality audits, be comfortable working with others, and work independently in a high- volume environment.SHIFT: 6:00 am – 6:00 PM Sunday – Tuesday, every other Saturday 6:00am – 2:30pm.
