Salary Range: $21.50 - $21.50 Hourly

Quality Assurance Technician

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring compliance with all Safe Quality Food Standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Collect swab results.
2. Enter results into the database.
3. Review results to ensure compliance with specifications.
4. Provide feedback to operators and manufacturing managers regarding non-conforming products and packaging.
5. Communicate results according to established communication methods.
6. Ensure the assigned area is clean at all times following established cleaning and sanitation practices.
7. Inform Quality and Production Managers of any food safety problems.
8. Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and job instructions.
9. Take corrective actions when measures are out of specification.
10. Document required process and quality measures.
11. Meet or exceed established targets.
12. Adhere to the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the BRC food safety standards.
13. Perform routine cleaning and general maintenance of the workspace as assigned.
14. Verify that all products produced meet customer specifications.
15. Ensure production processes meet company and customer standards (e.g., Brix, Moisture).
16. Perform other related duties as assigned, alerting team leaders and managers of idle time.

Qualifications

• Two years of production team experience preferred.
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent education.
• Bilingual in Spanish & English.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Mathematical aptitude.
