Nautic Partners, LLC completed its acquisition of the Specialty Tapes business from Berry Global Group, Inc., rebranding the company as Vybond. As a standalone business, Vybond is poised to strengthen its leadership in pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, delivering innovative solutions to industrial and specialty markets worldwide. Headquartered in Franklin, KY, with facilities in Riverhead, NY, and Bristol, RI, Vybond Group, Inc. manufactures specialty foil, film, and duct tapes and adhesives. With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collect coated samples and perform routine tests on in-process and finished goods.
2. Work from established procedures, written and/or verbal instructions.
3. Work with various test equipment and use of personal computer.
4. Test production samples, complete testing as required by specifications and procedures, interpret specifications to determine proper testing methods, and set up equipment accordingly.
5. Record test data on lab sheets, package retain samples if required, review test data, make copies of lab sheets, and report to supervisor.
6. Complete periodic and additional testing duties such as vendor items, customer complaint products, and experimental production work.
7. Perform product audits in warehouse as directed by supervisor.
8. Collect product samples from manufacturing equipment.
9. Perform product checks of held material at slitters.
10. Maintain required records and reports.
11. Detect and report unusual conditions to proper supervision.
12. Follow and enforce all safety rules and regulations; participate in safety team activities as required.
13. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
14. Perform inspection of finished goods and apply appropriate status tickets.
15. Perform other duties as required or directed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience in the quality function preferred.
• Knowledge of SPC techniques.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Perform all duties safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Compensation

$22-25 per hour
