Role Description

The Quality Assurance Technician is a full-time, on-site role located in Cadillac, MI. This position is responsible for inspecting parts and components, performing dimensional checks, and documenting results to ensure products meet internal standards and customer specifications. The technician conducts routine calibration of measurement tools and equipment, helps maintain quality records, and supports quality audits on the production floor. Daily tasks include identifying nonconformities, assisting with root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and communicating quality issues to production and management. The role also involves following established quality procedures, contributing to process improvements, and supporting a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to inspect products, verify compliance, and support consistent manufacturing standards.
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Quality Management capabilities to interpret data, identify trends, and assist with corrective and preventive actions.
• Candidates should possess Calibration experience to maintain, verify, and document the accuracy of gauges, measurement tools, and testing equipment.
• Relevant skills include attention to detail, ability to read technical drawings and specifications, and familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
