Job summary

Creekstone Farms Premium Beef LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to monitor products and processes, ensuring production specifications meet QA and food safety standards. You will document and audit activities and collaborate with USDA, FSIS, and other departments to uphold Creekstone Proud culture.

The role requires 1–3 years in the meat industry, strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to work in cold and warm environments.

• Maintain constructive relationships with various levels of personnel across departments

Quality Assurance Technician

JOB SUMMARY The QA Technician is responsible for monitoring products and processes to ensure that Creekstone Farms production specifications are met. This includes accurate and timely communicated documentation and audits that adhere to Quality and Food Safety Standards for every product. Other responsibilities may include pre-operation inspection activities and working closely with USDA, FSIS, USDA AMS and all departments within the plant. This individual will work closely with various departments by using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a “Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Monitoring, documenting, and communicating plant Quality/HACCP/SSOP/SOG/GMP programs to ensure proper implementation
• Coordinating with plant personnel, USDA, and contracted sanitation personnel to comply with quality programs
• Working daily in cold environments (~45 degrees) and warm environments (~85 degrees)
• Maintain constructive relationships with various levels of personnel in various departments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Adhere to and enforce all safety policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance Technologies and/or Knowledge of the meat industry
• 1-3 years’ experience in the meat industry
