Stampede Culinary Partners is seeking a seasoned Food Safety and Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead daily FSQA programs in alignment with USDA regulations, customer requirements, and company policies. You will guide QA Technicians and assist the FSQA Manager to ensure safe, compliant, high-quality products.

Supervises the daily execution of the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Program in accordance with Stampede Culinary Partners policies and procedures, USDA regulations, customer requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local food safety standards. Provides leadership and direction to Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technicians to ensure food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are consistently met. Supports the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining compliance, resolving food safety and quality issues, and ensuring the production of safe, legal, and high-quality products. Serves as a backup to the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager as needed.
Provides leadership and direction to the Assistant QA Supervisor and QA department in accordance with the organization’s policies, food safety standards, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include supporting employee development, coaching, assigning and prioritizing work, monitoring departmental performance, conducting performance evaluations for direct reports, addressing employee concerns, and fostering a culture of food safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Works closely with the Assistant QA Supervisor to ensure departmental objectives are achieved while maintaining compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or university is preferred; At least 2 years related experience, preferably in Quality Assurance and/or Manufacturing, food safety and food handling practices. Previous supervisory experience may be required depending upon other related work experience or education.
HAACP certification is preferred and eventually expected.
Must have excellent communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with quality management systems, document control systems, audit management software, ERP systems, and food safety databases is preferred. Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, maintain records, and manage electronic documentation.
