Job summary

The Hershey Company in Bluffton, IN is seeking a Quality Assurance Tech to perform hourly control tests, inspect samples, and ensure line cleanliness. The role supports product quality and food safety with a strong emphasis on GMP practices.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and basic data entry skills, plus 1-3 months related experience. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Check breakage and length.
• Bag, label, case count and bag weight checks.
• Collection of samples for Micro Testing.
• Completion of COA paperwork.
• Pre-operational inspections of line.
• Swabbing using ATP, AllerSnap, and AllerFlow swabs.
• Sanitation of lab and equipment.
• Enter test results into computer as required.
• Adhering to all GMP’s, both personal and operational.

Shifts:

12-hourshifts (7pm-7am)

Working 3-4 days/week ( One week : Sun, Wed, Thurs Next week :Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat). This is a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation)
