Description: In the Quality Assurance Team Advisor (Supervisor) position, you will lead a quality team, focusing on planning, organizing, training, coaching, and ensuring compliance with customer, company, government requirements, and guidelines.

This role is a Monday-Friday day shift position.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with customer and supplier specifications.
  • Develop Schreiber Foods culture by training, coaching, evaluating, and reinforcing process excellence principles.
  • Work with team leaders to identify and communicate customer requirements and develop PCPs to meet these requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of government regulations such as AIB, OSHA, USDA, FDA, EPA, EEOC, OFCCP, etc.
  • Evaluate daily production to maximize efficiencies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Administer processes related to certification programs, pay systems, assessments, document controls, and product traceability.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, interpret customer requirements, establish and audit PCPs, CCPs, and SOPs, and implement corrective actions when procedures are not followed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in food science, dairy science, microbiology, biology, animal science, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, or Production.
  • Proven leadership skills in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make quick, sound business decisions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
