R.S. Hughes Co. in Marietta, GA seeks a Quality Support Representative to join our Atlanta-area distribution operations and support the quality assurance function. You will handle compliance documents, customer-facing quality activities, export paperwork, and calibration scheduling.

This entry-level role works under supervision and offers exposure to audits, SCAR processes, and scorecard reporting while emphasizing accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication with suppliers and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years in quality, compliance, supply chain, or administrative role.
• Basic understanding of RoHS and REACH and export documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); comfortable with web portals and data entry systems.
• Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor when interfacing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Complete customer surveys and quality documents excluding quality agreements.
• Prepare and submit product compliance declarations (RoHS, REACH, CMRT).
• Coordinate calibration activities and maintain logs for warehouse locations.
• Host on-site customer audits and manage audit logistics and documentation.
• Maintain SCAR process familiarity to support quality improvements.
• Track and report customer scorecards to Quality leadership.
• Complete customer corrective action responses with internal stakeholders.
• Develop familiarity with internal audit processes and documentation standards.
• Support export approval activities and ensure complete documentation for export control.
• Maintain quality records and correspondence in an organized manner.
• Adhere to safety, ESD, and regulatory handling protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Quality leadership.
