Job summary

Hoshizaki America is seeking a quality professional to monitor the inspection and testing of incoming materials and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards. You will supervise a team of inspectors and assist in root cause analysis, helping develop new test methods and procedures to maintain product quality.

In this role you will also contribute to schedule attainment on projects, monitor KPI achievement, and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 5 years of production/quality experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with ISO and Lean manufacturing (5S, Kaizen).

Responsibilities

• Monitor inspection and testing of incoming material and finished products to ensure conformance to quality standards.
• Supervise and direct a team of inspectors and quality control staff.
• Assist in root cause analysis and develop new test methods and procedures.
• Follow up with suppliers on quality deviations and corrective actions.
• Analyze reports and customer feedback to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
