Job summary

Hoshizaki America Inc. is hiring Inspectors to ensure quality across production from assembly to final system integration. You will perform visual, mechanical, functional, dimensional, and electrical inspections using tablets and meters.

Based in Peachtree City, GA, this role follows a 5:00am–3:30pm schedule with a Quality department focus. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and relevant electronics/mechanical repair background.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electronics or related field and two years of mechanical/electrical repair experience; or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the operating principles of refrigeration.
• Ability to troubleshoot at subsystem and system level using identifiable problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and system diagrams.
• Ability to understand and interpret basic written technical information.
• Working knowledge of inspection/troubleshooting techniques and instruments.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Hands on experience using measurement devices (calipers, micrometer, height gage).
• Ability to replace components; wire circuits; repair simple electronic equipment; and take test readings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products during production to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Perform visual, mechanical, functional, dimensional, or electrical inspections.
• Communicate test results and coordinate with staff to contain nonconforming product.
• Support Kaizens and safety observation activities.
• Assist with periodic maintenance tasks.
