Job summary

ZIEHL-ABEGG, INC. is seeking a Final Assembly Technician for the 2nd shift in Winston-Salem, NC. You will complete final assembly of industrial fan products and ensure finished units meet quality standards.

You will read drawings, use hand and torque tools, and perform inspections while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and supporting continuous improvement with engineering and quality teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly or a related technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in using hand tools, torque tools, and measurement devices.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks involving standing, bending, and reaching.
• Comfortable working in a production environment with moderate noise and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble various industrial fan products in accordance with detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and established procedures.
• Use hand tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments to perform precise assembly tasks.
• Conduct visual and functional inspections of completed units to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and report product defects, equipment issues, or process deviations to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company policies, 6S principles, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support efficient workflow and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Assemble various industrial fan products in accordance with detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and established procedures.
• Use hand tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments to perform precise assembly tasks.
