Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee quality in our production areas, ensuring Molding and Dry Offset Printing meet inspection standards. The role includes supporting QA inspectors, maintaining QA testing protocols, and ensuring safety and efficiency across shifts.

English/Spanish bilingual skills are preferred. Responsibilities include overseeing Molding and Printing quality inspections, reporting deviations, and coordinating with QA and Production to

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 years in a quality related position.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong understanding of SPC and ISO.
  • ASQ certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee molding and printing quality inspection programs and testing.
  • Ensure finished goods meet established acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain QA testing protocols and documentation; report deviations.
  • Support ISO 9001 and SQF programs and supplier QA.
  • Coach and develop QA staff and supervise inspectors.

In this position you will ensure that all Injection Molding product and Dry Offset Printing product is made to quality inspection standards. This awesome supervisor will support all QA Inspectors in production, in their daily duties and ensure all employees are doing their jobs correctly and safely as well as take pride in their work and their attendance to maximize efficiency. Must be able to wear protective clothing as hair net, uniform, steel toe shoes, bump cap and ear plugs. Hot and cold, noisy environment, with odors.Language Skills:Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Use of mathematical skills in spreadsheets desired.Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
