Job summary

CorVel Corporation in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead the Ohio MCO workers’ compensation QA efforts. You will develop, implement and maintain QA tools, training materials and reports to support the Claims team.

This is a hybrid role requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to mentor staff. You will produce monthly and quarterly QA reports and help drive process improvements across office locations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Ability to analyze complex QA situations and report findings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to lead and mentor staff in QA processes.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with QA tooling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality reviews and audits to assess claims office performance and implement improvement actions.
• Identify training needs and develop/maintain QA training materials and procedures.
• Provide backup for incoming team calls and assist with claim completion steps.
• Prepare QA reports for monthly and yearly management review.
• Create and publish department newsletters and QA documentation.
