Job summary

MSD is seeking a Quality Assurance professional for the Wilson, NC site to support the shop floor, oversee packaging quality, and review batch records. The role emphasizes GMP compliance, problem solving, and collaboration across manufacturing teams.

Minimum education includes a High School Diploma with 3+ years in manufacturing or a science degree preferred. 3rd shift work is required (Sun-Thu, 11:30 PM–8:00 AM). MSD offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma and 3+ years in manufacturing or similar. OR Bachelor's degree in science preferred.
• Experience with quality systems and regulatory requirements (GMP, NDA).
• Ability to interpret quality policies and apply daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct shop floor support (counts, tagging, events).
• Quality oversight of packaging process and plant site.
• Perform batch record review activities of intermediate/finished product.
• Lead 5S, drive continuous improvement, and identify compliance opportunities.
• Provide QA review and approval of GMP-related SOPs.
