Qualifications

  • Must have strong writing skills and knowledge of Standard English composition and grammar.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the Agency’s programs and services and human service programs available within the community.
  • Must have good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must have good interviewing skills.
  • Ability to assimilate information for analysis, interpret trends, draw conclusions, consider options, and make recommendations.
  • Ability to plan, organize, implement and evaluate.
  • Creative skill in solving problems, presenting ideas, and writing reports.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply policy.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and community professionals.
  • Ability to work independently in the office and/or in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out comprehensive QA monitoring through development of standards and file reviews.
  • Assist with planning within the Department and provide technical assistance to CPS/APS leadership.
  • Facilitate and document Child and Family Team Meetings.
  • Conduct second party reviews of Child Welfare files to ensure standards are met.
  • Complete home studies for prospective placements as needed.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and deliver training.
  • Pull and prepare case files for audits/reviews.
  • Support families through trauma-informed care pathways to ensure timely services.
